StarCruises has announced the extension of the Star Voyager’s Hong Kong homeport deployment through 14 November 2025, adding 24 sailings to the original 21-cruise schedule. The decision responds to growing demand from both local and international travellers, particularly from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and the fly-cruise segment.
Departing from the centrally located Hong Kong Ocean Terminal, the expanded lineup includes 2 to 5-night cruises across East and Southeast Asia, offering travellers more access to regional favourites and lesser-explored coastal gems.
New itineraries include:
Vietnam: 10
The Philippines: Departures to Boracay and Coron, known for idyllic beaches and vibrant marine life
Sanya, China: A tropical escape often called the “Hawaii of China”
Popular return routes such as 2-night weekend “sea-cation” cruises and 5-night journeys to Okinawa, Kaohsiung, and Penghu are also being expanded with new departure dates to meet increased interest.
“We’re delighted with the initial response and demand. As such, we’re pleased to extend our sailings from Hong Kong to over five months this season and to share a dynamic line-up of itineraries that truly reflects the spirit of Asian cruising,” said Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises. “These additional departures will create more opportunities for both local and international markets.”
Special Offers: Travellers booking between 23 June and 25 July for selected sailings in July and August will receive HK$100 onboard credit per cabin, per night, along with a 10% discount on newly added voyages from August to November.
With destinations offering snorkelling in Nha Trang, limestone karsts in Ha Long Bay, island hopping in Coron, and cultural stops like Da Nang’s Marble Mountains and Sanya’s Nanshan Temple, the new routes appeal to a broad range of cruisers—from families and couples to adventure seekers.
This expansion reaffirms StarCruises’ strategic investment in the region and positions Hong Kong as a premier cruising gateway to Asia.
